Our Recent Placements
Posted in What We Do on Mon, 16th July 2012.
While we have been expanding our catalog over the past few months, we have also been working hard to place our artists’ tracks. This summer alone we are making some big things happen. We successfully placed two more tracks from our catalog - Adam Lindquist and Purplecrush are the talented artists whose tracks made the cut in our placement with McKinsey & Co. Along with the help of Union HZ, a group of filmmakers, documentarians & commercial storytellers who cultivate and generate unique material, these projects couldn't be completed! Shout out to Union HZ! We're also happy to announce that we are off and rolling with Motomuzika! The ishlab team is equally proud and humbled to see our hard work continuing to pay off. Go team.

Travis Royce

We are very proud to say that Travis Royce has joined our family at ishlab. At the age of 23, Travis is a producer, writer, and performer, originally from Portland, Oregon.
His music style can be defined as electronic, hip-hop, dance, and r&b. However, his talents don’t end there. He’s been playing piano since age twelve, around the same time he began to write and play music of all genres. In addition to piano, he plays the drums and even dabbles in guitar.
For Travis, music has a calming effect on him in addition to an outlet for expression. He’s a humble artist; therefore we will brag for him. Check out one of his hot tracks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQrE4qtc_XQ
Mark Lowndes
Posted in What We Do on Thu, 15th March 2012.
We are proud to welcome talented singer-songwriter Mark Lowndes to the Ishlab family.
Think
Jack Johnson meets Stevie Wonder and what do you get? Brisbane born and
bred vocalist Mark Lowndes definitely should come to mind. Described by
those lucky enough to have seen him perform as an evocative songwriter
with captivating vocals, the self proclaimed optimist sees his talent as
a tool to put multiculturalism and community on the map. His underlying
messages thread through his strong and free spirited compositions with music being the root of his expression.
Mark’s ability to draw and apprehend his audience with his clever
lyrics was rewarded ‘Acoustic in the Park’ winner in 2006. In 2007, the
acoustic soul artist was voted runner up for Brisbane’s FRETFEST find of
the year breaking boundaries with his originality and individualism. In
late 2008, Mark released his self titled EP which has been a growing
success both locally and internationally. The six tracks EP displays RnB
and reggae influences in each track through beautiful yet strong
melodic tunes. Ben Preece of “Time Off” magazine could write nothing but
positive words on the artist which soon led to a music video for his
debut single, Butterfly in early 2009.
